A single home for stories, updates, and ideas across the company. Here's why we built it and what to expect.
Today we're launching RICOH in Focus, a new internal publication built to bring our teams closer together. It's a single place for stories, updates, and ideas — from a sprint retro to a regional launch to a customer breakthrough.
We built it because we kept hearing the same thing across the company: there's a lot happening, but it's scattered. The intranet has updates, Slack has chatter, division newsletters have specifics. None of it talks to each other.
In Focus pulls them into one feed, with simple filters: For You, Latest, by Type, by Topic, by Division. Star posts you want to come back to. Subscribe to people or topics you care about. The discovery experience is designed for a quick glance over coffee or a deep read on the train.
We've kept it simple. Three things matter to us:
— Useful to other teams, not just the author
— Honest, even when something didn't work
— Easy to skim, easy to read deeply
"If a post helps another team avoid a mistake or move faster, it's the right post."
We're starting with regular contributions from RDx, Ricoh Europe, and Ricoh UK, plus a curated For You feed driven by Spaces AI. Over the next few weeks you'll see more divisions onboarding and richer post types — interviews, walkthroughs, and quick takes.
